Resolution No. 2014-49 - Amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Program for FY 2014-15 to Cancel CDBG Funding for the Sidewalk and Curb Improvement-FY 2014-2015 Project and to Reprogram Funds to the Public Facilities Improvements-Treder Park Project, Residential Rehabilitation Program and Handyworker Program (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Conduct the Public Hearing for an Amendment to the FY 2014-2015 Community Development Block Grant Program. 2. Approve Resolution 2014-49 to cancel CDBG funding for the Sidewalk and Curb Improvement-FY 2014-2015 Project and reprogram $132,786 as follows: $50,000 to the Public Facilities Improvements-Treder Park Project (current budget $50,000) for a revised CDBG allocation of $100,000; $50,000 to Residential Rehabilitation Program (current budget $195,000) for a revised CDBG allocation of $245,000; $32,876 to the Handyworker Program (current budget $85,104) for a revised CDBG allocation of $117,890. 3. Approve budget amendment re-appropriating $100,000 in lapsed FY 2014 General Fund budget for the Treder Park project to FY 2015 Treder Park Project. 4. Authorize Finance Department to amend FY 2014-2015 Adopted Budget in accordance with the changes specified in items #2 and #3 above.
