Selection of an Executive Search firm for the position of City Manager. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Per BMC 3.12.080 Exceptions to Formal Bidding Requirements, Professional and Personal Services Procurement, authorize an exception from formal bidding requirements and award a consultant contract with Bob Murray and Associates for the Recruitment of a permanent City Manager in an amount of $19,500 plus expenses. Estimated total costs are $27,000. 2. Authorize the Interim-City Manager to sign and execute the consultant contract with Bob Murray and Associates for $27,000, and authorize the Finance Director to make the budget appropriations from the City's unbudgeted general fund reserves for the contract costs to the Human Resources Division Professional Services line item.

Contract for the Interim Finance Director. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the contract with Shally S. Lin to serve as the Interim Finance Director
Approval of Joint User Agreement (JUA) with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) for use of Orchard Academies Athletic Field. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the Agreement with LAUSD for five (5) years to utilize the Athletic Field located at Orchard Academies for youth soccer programming. 2. Authorize appropriation from General Fund reserves of $21,000 to account Professional Services (001-60-60-0000-000-6100) for the Fiscal Year 2014-15. 3. Authorize appropriation from General Fund reserves of $42,000 annually to account Professional Services (001-60-60-0000-000-6100) for a total of $210,000 for the next five (5) years beginning in the Fiscal Year 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
