Approve the cancellation of the Lead Based Paint/Hazard Test/Abatement and Handy Worker Programs from the CDBG budget; and c. Extension of Contract for Street Sweeping, Sidewalk Cleaning, and Bus Shelter Cleaning. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 1, extending the contract for street sweeping, sidewalk cleaning, and bus shelter cleaning services to November 18, 2015.
Resolution No. 2015-18 - Accept the Street Rehabilitation Project 2014/15 as Complete, authorize staff to file the Notice of Completion with the Los Angeles County Recorder, and authorize staff to release retention thirty five (35) days after the filing of the Notice of Completion. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve Resolution No. 2015-08, accepting the Street Rehabilitation Project 2014/15 as complete and authorizing staff to prepare and file the Notice of Completion with the Los Angeles County Recorder; and 2. Authorize staff to release retention thirty five (35) days after the filing of the Notice of Completion.
2013 Homeland Security Grant Program Surveillance System. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve a Waiver of Bids per section 3.12.120 of the Bell Municipal Code Purchasing Ordinance, 2. Approve selection of Sea Hawk Surveillance, Inc. to provide the Public Safety Surveillance Wireless Mesh Network. 3. Approve the expenditure subject to approval of a written agreement by the City Manager and City Attorney. 4. Authorize the City Manager to sign the agreement between the City of Bell and Sea Hawk Surveillance, Inc. 5. Authorize the Finance Department to issue necessary purchase orders and make payments to facilitate the successful completion of this project.
