Award of a Three-Year Contract to Jive Communications for the City Phone System. {Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council award a contract to Jive Communications in an amount not to exceed $132,888 for 3 years to provide phone system services and support.
Extension of contract for Transit Services with Global Paratransit Inc. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Global Paratransit Inc. for the term September 9, 2015 through September 9, 2016.
Authorize the Police Chief to accept and administer the Office of Traffic Safety, Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Grant to reduce the number of traffic fatalities and injuries. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the acceptance of the OTS STEP grant and waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2015-45 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF BELL AUTHORIZING THE POLICE CHIEF TO ACCEPT AND ADMINISTER THE OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY, SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM (STEP) GRANT TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF TRAFFIC FATALITIES AND INJURIES.
