(Planning Commission) Recommendation: It is recommended that the Planning Commission: a. Conduct a public hearing; and b. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2015-44PC titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BELL, APPROVING THE MODIFICATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2014-01 TO ALLOW LIVE ENTERTAINMENT AT AN EXISTING EATING ESTABLISHMENT (CULICHITOWN), LOCATED AT 6638 ATLANTIC AVE IN BELL CA
Presentation from Staff of the Eco-Rapid Transit Line, (formerly known as the Orange Line Development Authority), and Request for Sponsorship from Eco-Rapid Transit, for a Transportation Summit to be held on November 18th. {Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Hear the presentation and ask questions from Transit Authority Staff of Eco-Rapid regarding the Eco-Rapid Transit Line along with the proposed usage of sponsorship funds; 2. Consider the request made by the Executive Director of the Eco-Rapid Transit Line to participate as a sponsor in the upcoming transportation summit to be held on November 18th; and 3. If sponsorship is approved, authorize a budget amendment to utilize the existing fund balance in the City's AQMD Fund (#103) to pay for the sponsorship and bring back a resolution at a subsequent City Council meeting authorizing the budget amendment
Letter of Support for Proposed Salvation Army Low Income Housing Development & Authorization to provide a determination on Article 34 Authority from City Attorney. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize and direct the City Manager to sign the letter of support on behalf of the City supporting the Salvation Army's project. 2. Authorize and direct the City Attorney to perform the necessary Article 34 research so that the determination as to Article 34 applicability can be included in the Salvation Army's application.
Contract Services Agreement for Lead and Asbestos Testing. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve and execute a Contract Services Agreement, by and between, the City of Bell and Lead Tech Environmental for lead and asbestos testing services for a not to exceed annual cost of $15,000
