Appointment of a Permanent City Manager. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: a) Approve the appointment of Howard W. Brown, Jr. as City Manager with a start date of Januarys 2016. b) Approve the employment contract with Howard W. Brown, Jr. at annual salary of $192,000 plus benefits. c) Read by title only, waive further reading , and adopt resolution 2015-55 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL AUTHORIZING A FY 2015-16 BUDGET AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATE $12,700 FROM THE GENERAL FUND UNRESTRICTED FUND BALANCE TO THE ADMINSTRATION DEPARTMENT'S FUND d) Approve the Job Classification of Chief Administrative Officer (City Manager) Next Special Meeting, November 17, 2015
