Continue the Public Hearing for appropriation of the Fiscal Year 2016-17 Community Development Block Grant Program; and b. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution 2016-03 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE BELL CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE CITY'S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017
Resolution 2016-02 Authorizing a Budget Adjustment in the Amount of $ 4,000 from the AQMD Fund Balance to the AQMD Service by Other Governmental Agency. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council read by title only, waive further reading, and adopt Resolution 2016-02 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL, CALIFORNIA APPROVING INTER-FUND TRANSFERS FROM THE AQMD RESERVE FUND TO THE AQMD SERVICES BY OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,000 TO SPONSOR TRANSPORTATION SUMMIT AND APPROVING A FISCAL YEAR 2015-16 BUDGET AMENDMENT TO REFLECT SAID TRANSFERS
Authorization to fill Vacant Full Time Position. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the filling of the listed vacant full time position.
Approve the Settlement Agreement and Release with Plaintiffs Desiree Henriquez, Joseph Ignacio Henriquez and the Estate of Jose Roberto Henriquez, Jr. (collectively, "Plaintiffs"). (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the Settlement Agreement and Release with Plaintiffs Desiree Henriquez, Joseph Ignacio Henriquez and the Estate of Jose Roberto Henriquez, Jr. (collectively, "Plaintiffs") which authorizes the City's excess insurance carrier, AIG, to make payment in the amount of $350,000.00 to Plaintiffs upon execution of the Settlement Agreement and Release.
Approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority for Metro Rapid Bus Stop Installation. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve amendment no. 1 to the agreement with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority for the installation of two additional bus shelters on Atlantic Avenue at no cost to the City.
Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule 16-17 covering fiscal year 2016-17. (Successor Agency to the Bell Community Redevelopment Agency) Recommendation: It is recommended that the Successor Agency receive and file this report.
