Consideration of a New Agreement with Barr & Clark for Lead-Based Paint and Asbestos Consulting Services. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve a New Agreement with Barr & Clark for Lead-Based Paint and Asbestos Consulting Services.
Consideration of a new Agreement with Valley Computer Service, Inc. (VCS) for Utility Meter Reading Services for three (3) years, with two (2) one-year extensions. (Bell Community Housing Authority) Recommendation: It is recommended that the Chair and Members of the Board approve a new Agreement with VCS, for Utility Meter Reading Services for three (3) years, with two (2) potential one-year extensions.
Consideration of a Resolution Approving Participation in the Los Angeles Urban County Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program Authorizing Contract for Funding from the County of Los Angeles and Approve the Recommended Programs to be Funded. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2020-59 titled: “A RESOLUTION OF THE BELL CITY COUNCIL APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE LOS ANGELES URBAN COUNTY PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION PROGRAM BY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO SIGN A CONTRACT FOR FUNDING FOR THIS PROGRAM FROM THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES” and 2. Approve Staff recommended programs that will be funded with the Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program Funds: and 3. Authorize Staff to develop the program policies and guidelines for the programs; and 4. Authorize Staff to budget programs and staffing to implement the programs in FY 2020-21 budget.
Clarkson Avenue Design Selection. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve Concept D design option for the Clarkson Avenue Improvements Project and authorize staff to prepare plans and specifications for the Project.
Southern California Edison Streetlight Billings. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council read by title only, waive further reading, and adopt Resolution No. 2020-61 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL AUTHORIZING A GENERAL FUND BUDGET TRANSFER OF $100,000 TO THE BELL LIGHTING DISTRICT FUND #460 TO BE REIMBURSED UPON RECEIPT OF DISTRICT REVENUES OR SOONER
