Pursuant to Assembly Bill 1234, this is the time and place to provide a brief report on meetings, seminars and conferences attended by the Mayor and City Councilmembers.
In this portion of the agenda, the City Manager will provide a brief report on items of interest to the City Council and/or the community.
Approval of the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (“ROPS”) and Administrative Budget for FY 2021-22 for DOF Submission. (Successor Agency to the Bell Community Redevelopment Agency) Recommendation: It is recommended that the Members of the Successor Agency approve the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (“ROPS”) for the 2021-22 Fiscal Period of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 and the Administrative Budget for the 2021-22 Fiscal Period with the attached documents for submission to the Oversight Board for further approval on January 25, 2021 and authorization to transmit to the California Department of Finance under dissolution law by February 1, 2021.
Pavement Marking/Striping/Curb Marking Rehabilitation Project - Construction Award. (City Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Award a construction contract in the amount of $443,879.50 to WGJ Enterprises Inc. dba PCI for the Pavement Marking/Striping/Curb Marking Rehabilitation Project, and 2. Authorize the Community Services Director to execute change orders to the project in a total amount not to exceed $44,388 (ten percent of the bid amount) for any necessary additional work.
The following Consent Calendar items are expected to be routine and non-controversial. They are acted upon by the City Council and related authorities at one time without discussion. The reading of the full text of ordinances and resolutions will be waived unless a Councilmember requests otherwise. Recommendation: Approve agenda items 3 and 4. 3. General Warrants, Successor Agency to the Bell Community Redevelopment Agency and Community Housing Authority Warrants dated January 13, 2021.
