Approve Amendment No. 1 with Mr. C’s Towing of South Gate, Inc. for Non-Exclusive Franchise Agreement for Tow Truck Services. (City Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 1 with Mr. C’s Towing of South Gate, Inc. for Tow Truck Services.
Pavement Marking/Striping/Curb Marking Rehabilitation Project – Contingency Budget Increase. (City Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Increase the Pavement Marking/Striping/Curb Marking Project (Project) construction contingency by $143,000 to include the addition of Florence Avenue into the project scope of work; and 2. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2021-09 titled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL APPROPRIATING $143,000 OF PROP C FUNDING TO THE PAVEMENT MARKING/STRIPING/CURB MARKINGS PROJECT"; and 3. Authorize the Community Services Director to execute change orders to the Project in a total amount not to exceed $143,000 for the Florence Avenue work and related construction contingency.
