(City Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 2 with Diana Cho and Associates for additional Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Administrative Services.
Resolution No. 2021-15 – Adopting a List of Projects for FY 21/22 for the use of funds provided by the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 (SB-1). (City Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2021-15 titled: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL ADOPTING A LIST OF PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 FUNDED BY SB-1: THE ROAD REPAIR AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 2017 (SB 1)”
Gage Avenue Bridge Improvement Project – Architectural Design Concepts. (City Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council select an architectural design concept for the Gage Avenue Bridge Improvement Project, or direct staff to explore other concepts.
Annual Appointments of Council Members to Serve on Various Committees. (City Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the: 1. City Council review and discuss amongst each other who can serve on the various committees; 2. Mayor appoint members to serve on the various committees, following recommendations from each council member as to where they would like to serve; and 3. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2021-18 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL APPROVING THE COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, VARIOUS BOARDS AND AGENCIES
5. It is recommended that the City Council read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2021-12 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL, CALIFORNIA APPROPRIATING $50,000 OF STATE REIMBURSABLE FUNDS FOR THE CALIFORNIA HIGH-SPEED RAIL PROJECT 6. It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the utilization of Cal eProcure a statewide cooperative purchasing program for the replacement of Unit #1505; and 2. Authorize the Interim City Manager to procure a replacement vehicle (Unit #1505) and send final invoices for the total costs of the vehicle and upfitting to the insurer for reimbursement of funds within 30 days after review. 7.
