Recommendation: It is recommended that the Bell Planning Commission read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution 2021-01PC titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BELL PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPT AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.08, 17.28, 17.32, 17.40 AND 17.96 OF THE BELL MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE THE CITY’S REGULATIONS REGARDING DEFINITIONS OF SCHOOLS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPROVAL FOR TOBACCO SALES, GUN SMITHS, GUN SALES AND MOTORCYCLE REPAIR SHOPS IN COMMERCIAL AND MANUFACTURING ZONES AND SCHOOLS IN COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL ZONES 7.
